The Disappearance of Peter Markham

If Martina Cole is the Queen of crime, Donna must be a Princess...
When Peter Markham goes missing the police are mystified. He seems the perfect family man. A peer of the local community.
When hes found horrifically murdered the police soon learn that he wasn't all that he appeared.
DI Cora Snitton and her newly appointed DCs Luke and Darcey have their work cut out trying to catch this clever killer.

DI Cora Snitton is barely catching her breath after the last case when another body turns up - this time, a suspected junkie dumped in an abandoned quarry.
Her team is pulled into the chaos of the Luton Carnival, a vibrant event with a dark reputation for gang violence and drug deals.
Amid the crowds, noise, and flashing lights, a ruthless gangster sees his chance to make a name for himself in a new town.
As the music blares and the party rages on, something sinister rages behind the scenes.

Book 2 in the gritty Cora Snitton series.

Cassie goes to scope out a cool place for her to spend Halloween night in, with her new friends. After recently joining a new school, trying to leave her past behind her, it seems Milkview has other plans.

This book got an honourable mention in a book group competition, so I decided to release in to raise money for MIND.

Donna Morfett

Born and raised in a small Town in Bedfordshire.

I have loved reading as long as I was able to understand the words written on the page, and the love has remained. Now I use it as a way to help cope with poor mental health.

As with many people across the world, the pandemic left us with lots of time, and twiddling thumbs. As well as trying to complete a degree in Forensic Science at the time, I thought she'd try and write a book!

That book, although story wise is ok, needs a lot of work, and is yet to see the light of day. I likes the story and hope to go back to it one day.

I then took part in NaNoWriMo, in November 2021, and wrote my first full length novel. Then there is Cassie, which came joint second in a recent short story competition. When entered, they were given covers and proper editing, so I thought, why not release it, and raise some money for charity. So thats how Cassie came to be.

My debut novel The Disappearance of Peter Markham is being released by Rampart books on May 23rd 2024. Its the most exciting experience, releasing your first book. If you want to write. Do It!!
